Mount Peter Opens for the Season

As the closest slope to the Waterstone Inn, (3 miles away), Mount Peter is the perfect place for beginners and racers alike. With full snow making capabilities and a new quad lift, Mount Peter is a full-service mountain that’s ideal for a day of skiing or snowboarding. Or if tubing is more your speed they have that too.

Fun Fact: Macy’s might be known for its Thanksgiving Day Parade and 4th of July fireworks, but it’s lesser known that Macy’s was the first owner of Mt. Peter. They purchased the mountain in 1936 and developed the ski run to showcase its ski and winter wear.
